Adding Polygon networks to your Metamask wallet
By default, the Metamask wallet does not include Polygon networks in the list of networks available for use. To enable the Polygon Mainnet network or the Polygon Amoy test network, follow the instructions below.
Adding Polygon Mainnet network automatically
To add the Polygon network on Metamask, follow these steps:
- Make sure the Metamask app is installed on your device. Or, if using a desktop browser, make sure the Metamask extension is installed in your browser.
- Go to https://polygonscan.com
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Add Polygon Network
- Then, when Metamask opens, select Approve to add the network to your Metamask wallet
Adding Polygon Mainnet or Polygon Amoy manually
You can also add the Polygon Mainnet network or the Polygon Amoy test network manually to your Metamask wallet. To add either of these networks, do the following:
1. Click on the Metamask extension icon in the toolbar of your Chrome desktop browser.
If you do not see the Metamask extension, click on the Extensions icon, and then click on the Metamask name.
2. Click on the Settings menu item
3. Then, click on the Networks menu item
4. Click Add Network
5. At the bottom of the screen, click Add a network manually
6. Enter in the information below for the network you wish to add.

7. When you have entered this information, press Save.
You will then be able to use the Polygon Mainnet network or Polygon Amoy test network in your Metamask wallet.
