Common blockchain minting problems

Occasionally, token minting can fail on the blockchain due to common minting problems. Find solutions to common error messages below.

The blockchain gives a series of timeout errors after repeated tries

Potential solutions:

1. Open your Metamask wallet and check for pending transactions. Sometimes, pending transactions can become 'stuck' and prevent other transactions from completing. If you have pending transactions that are not being confirmed, clear them out before attempting another transaction.
2. Sometimes, due to network conditions, blockchains can become congested. Consider trying your transaction at an alternate time with less network traffic.

Invalid transaction params error

On the Polygon Mainnet network or the Polygon Amoy test network, the error message "Invalid transaction params: params specify an EIP-1559 transaction but the current network does not support EIP-1559" displays.

Potential solution:

Reset your wallet networks in Metamask. Change your wallet network to Ethereum and then change it back to Polygon Mainnet or Polygon Amoy to clear the wallet. Then attempt your transaction again.
