Redemption type
In QR code mode, the customer is presented with a QR code that can be scanned by the brand (using any smartphone camera; no app or download required) to “redeem” the reward and invalidate it for future use.
In Coupon code mode, the customer is presented with a coupon code (which can include other custom text too) that the brand displays after a customer has verified their digital token.
Redemption limit Indicate how many times this reward can be redeemed by the customer.
Redemption mode Select if your reward is associated with the Token, or if it is associated with the User.
For rewards associated with a Token, the reward can only be redeemed the number of times per token you indicate in Redemption limit. For example, if you put the Redemption limit as 1 in Token mode, the reward can only be redeemed one time for the life of the token, regardless of subsequent transfers to other owners.
For rewards associated with a User, the reward is granted to each holder of the NFT, based on the number you set in Redemption limit. For example, if you put the Redemption limit as 1 in User mode, each holder of the token will be able to redeem the reward one time as the token is transferred to other people during its lifetime.
Post-verification display text Enter text to display to the user after the token has been verified. For example, you can enter additional instructions, location directions, or other information you wish to display. For rewards in Coupon Code mode, entering a coupon code here is required.
Expiration mode and date Select whether you would like the reward to have an expiration date or not. For rewards with an expiration date, if a user attempts to verify their token after the expiration date, they will receive a message that the reward has expired.
Reward status Select whether your reward is published.
On the header tab, you can customize the imagery and colors of your redemption page using the following fields:
Header image The header image appears at the very top of your redemption page, centered in a background defined by the Header background color. To include a header image, select a JPEG, PNG, or GIF file from your computer to upload to your page.
Header background color The Header background color is at the very top of your redemption page, and contains the Header image. You can select this color using the color palette that appears.
The Links tab allows you to add HTML links to your page to feature specific content on an external Web site. Use the following fields to add links to your page:
Links Add text links to display to the customer after they have verified their token. These links will display as text links below any Post-verification text you have entered in the Info section.
They can be used to redirect users to a page on your e-commerce site, for example, where they can immediately redeem a coupon code-based reward. Or you can provide links to additional information about your reward, event, perk, or offer.
In the Tokens tab, you can select which token(s) you wish to validate the reward against. To do so, select the token(s) as outlined below:
To select a token against which to validate a reward, first make sure your wallet is connected.
If multiple tokens are selected, the customer will need to have one of the tokens in his/her digital wallet to be eligible to redeem the reward, rather than possessing all of the selected tokens.
You can also add a token not held in your blockchain wallet to your reward. User who hold this token will be enabled to receive your reward. To add a token manually, select the Manual tab in the modal dialog for token selection. Then enter the token's blockchain contract address, token ID, and the blockchain network the on which the token is hosted.
You can also select Cloud-based DPPs that are eligible to receive the reward. To do so, press the Select Cloud DPPs button. Then, press the diagonal arrow next to each token. When the reward is saved, users will then see the reward displayed on their unique URL for their Cloud-based DPP.
Once you have finished adding (or editing) your loyalty reward, press the Save button.
When your loyalty reward is saved successfully, you will see a blue Updated timestamp on your list of rewards.
