Upload media to a user or brand library
The media library contains images that can be inserted into DPP Planner data fields, DPP Data Events, and more.
Note: The media library is separate from the My Media page. The My Media page contains media (images and video) that can be used in DPP minting (Blockchain-based DPPs and Cloud-based DPPs). The media library only supports images.

Library types
You can upload images for use in PicoNext to one of two libraries: Brand library - these are images accessible to all users in your organization. Only Admin users can upload images to a Brand library. User library - these are images accessible to only you
Library tab
The Library tab contains images that you've uploaded to your media.
Use an image
To use an image in a DPP Planner data field, DPP Data Event, or elsewhere, simply tap on it in the media library.
Delete an image
To delete an image from the media library, do the following: 1. Press the Manage button 2. Tap the checkmark on each image that you wish to delete 3. Press the Delete selected button
Upload tab
You can upload images using the Upload tab.
To upload images, do the following:
1. Press the Select files button and select the files you wish to upload from your browser dialog.
2. Wait for the files to upload. A progress bar indicates the upload status.
3. When the files have finished uploading, you can view them in the Library, or you can upload more.
Stock tab
PicoNext has an integrated stock image library with free-to-use images that you can import into your media library.
To import a stock image, do the following:
1. Type a search keyword and press the Magnifying Glass icon
2. Tap on the image that you wish to save to your media library
3. Press the Save to project button
4. When the image has finished importing, it will be available in for use in the Library tab
Icons tab
PicoNext has an integrated icon library with free-to-use icons that you can use directly in DPP Planner data fields, DPP Data Events, and more.
To use an icon in your project, do the following:
1. Search for an icon by entering a keyword in the search field. Alternatively, browse for an icon using the categories above the search box.
2. Press on the icon you wish to use. The icon will be inserted in your project.
Considerations for use
The media library accepts files with these criteria:
- PNG, JPG or GIF file types
- Individual files must be 10MB size or less
The media library inserts images at the bottom of DPP Planner data fields and DPP Data Events. You can reposition the image by using the Cut (Ctrl + X / Command + X) and Paste (Ctrl + V / Command + V) functionality of your device.
