Getting started with the PicoNext Product Passport app for Shopify
To get started with the PicoNext Product Passport app for Shopify, follow the instructions below.
1 - Install the app
To get started, first install the PicoNext Product Passports app into your Shopify admin panel by following these instructions:
1. The PicoNext Product Passports app for Shopify is in an invite-only pre-release. To obtain a link to install the app, first request access to the app. 2. Then, on the app install page, press Install app
3. Grant the permissions necessary to install the app by pressing Install
2 - Sign up for PicoNext
Once the app is installed in your Shopify admin, sign up for PicoNext. You can sign up for a PicoNext Essentials plan from within the Shopify app. Or you can sign up for the Starter plan with access to a limited quantity of free DPPs.
1. Select your PicoNext plan and press the Review Payment Details button. Or, if you’ve selected the free Starter plan, press the Sign Up button
2. (For paid plans). Fill out your payment information and press Approve.
3. You’ll then be provisioned with a PicoNext account, according to the plan you’ve selected. We’ll send you an email to the email address of your Shopify account with sign in information for your PicoNext Account.
3 - Sign in to PicoNext
When you’ve signed up for a plan, sign in with your PicoNext account information.
1. Enter the information provided in your welcome message, including your email, temporary password, and region.
2. Then, press Sign In
3. You’ll be prompted to change your temporary password when you sign in to your account the first time.
